Two things - Fifi got to go on an errand run with me and got herself another pupcup - which she just loves... second - i learned how to make gifs which is great for captures those gorgeous ears!
And over the holiday - Cassie came home so she got to see another favorite person of hers... Lots of cuddle time for her...
She hates her toenails to be clipped - and with just me and then those long legs of her - it was hard to do... got the back ones done, but took her to the local pet store that does nail trimming for the fronts... went sooooo much better, calmer and most importantly - FASTER!!! Just not her favorite thing for sure... She doesn't like her feet touched so I'm been working on touch them and giving her treats and trying to desensivitive her a bit so she doesn't mind her feet being handles. We will see...

Dress Up Time!!!!
So the weather is chilly and Seraphina for sure doesn't like the cold - so it's been fun to see what clothes of Skeeters fit her.. which is most - her legs just stick out more! But I end up rolling most things up for Skeeter so it works out for Seraphina. She likes wearing clothes and puts her head in to help you out!
But then I found the hats - Seraphina was not as much of a fan of the hats - yet, she was adorable so I took some pictures...
And then look at this - how possibly cute can one dog be? She got revenge though - when I took it off - I left the hat on the ground and she tore the pom pom on the top off in one second flat... however... I know how to make more pom poms so this won't stop the hat from coming back at some point!! hahahah

Making Friends
Seraphina likes me; but on day 1, preferred Cassie. Which is fine... Sometimes the foster dogs prefer one of us over the other., no biggie. However; when Cassie's friend Heidi came over... it was love at first sight! Seraphina adored her on day 1 -and now a few weeks later when Heidi came and visited - I was a dim memory while all she wanted was hugs and cuddles for Heidi - her favorite person. She even napped next to her while we visited. It's really super cute. She must remind her of someone...
I love her big ol' ears - they are super soft, she'll let you kiss them and they do crazy configurations. Sometimes they are up, only one is or both down. You never know~
From the first day she came into my home... with Heidi - BFF's.

Bird and Ducks - Oh My!
So Seraphina likes to chase birds... This was discovered when one day I just happened to have a bunch of birds in my yard and desk...unusual...but Seraphina got to barking at them, got Sasha to join in and they chases birds all over the yard... Not even close to catching them; but it was especially good to see Sasha join in - she doesn't see as well these days so it was nice to see her amped up.
But I thought I would be nice and this weekend I took her to the park where there are ducks... I thought she might enjoy them. But no; new place was too scary on this visit - she was nervous watching the other people that were out - didn't seem to mind the other dogs - and half way around; just had had enough. I held her and walked her over to the ducks; but she didn't care. She's just nervous around new places - we will try again.
She loves to snuggle under blankets - I really like it when just her feet stick out! The cutest!

Goofy Seraphina
We have learned a lot about each other these past few weeks... Her trust in me and the dogs goes up every day. She's even jumped up on the bed for a quick nap with the other dogs and me - though she still doesn't stay for long, preferring to burrow under blankets in the crate.
She gets eye drops about every 4 hours. Any longer and her eye gets too dry. You also should take it with you if you go out for a walk. Sometimes she needs it a little sooner when she's out in the weather.... I've also found if you mix up how you give it her.. just not the same way each time in her eye - it goes faster and smoother. Surprisingly - the routine is pretty easy though I had to use a reminder app for the first week; but now I don't as I've got the times down and it's just done quick and easy. She for sure likes it cause I'm sure it makes her eye feel better.
She is also starting to play with toys - though she won't let me see her yet. I hear her playing while I'm working; but she stops when she me - but the toys are out so I know... and she knows I know!
She is a completed snuggle bug while I'm working and sometimes I let her sit in my lap with a blanket while I work and one time I put her in my hoodie jacket all zipped up and she loved that. She also loves kisses - though if she's snuggling with you - your stomach better not growl or she'll get all startled and jumped down and run away.... hahaha - she's goofy in the most adorable way.
She's quiet too - rarely barks....though sometimes my pups can get her to join in...
