Pippa
Living the good life down in Oregon with mom and dad.  She's got it rough as you can see. 

She was especially loved on by my dad; he just couldn't resist her charms.  This cames up in my reminder feed from July 2015 from when I was dog watching her.  Not many dogs got in face licks but she is special!

Tucker 

Look at Tucker - adopted in 2011 - I snagged this photo off of facebook... I can't believe it's been almost 7 years since he was adopted.   What a lucky happy boy he is! 

Mina

Mina too looks like she is having a great summer; relaxing in the backyard with mom and new clothes too boot!  Yay!!!  Lookin' good Mina! 

Foster Update

Ah fostering withdrawls - but the good news is I got to see former foster Stallone (now called Chase) and see him happy and in his element.  He was adopted in February.  His transition to his new home was not smooth; but with the help of his great mom, New Rattitude's behavior modification team (Blair!) and a local training group (ACME) - within 4- 6 weeks; his fears were gone and he was back to the happy dog that I knew; and well bonded to his new family.   While I wish he went to his new home more smoothy; I so appreciate the dedication his mom had to helping him and the sage advice of Blair and the local training people. 

We met them at the dog park where he happily greeted us - especially Cassie who he seemed to remember and then played very well with the other dogs that were there.  He checked in often with his mom and let me pet him each time.  He really was having a good time and I hope to see him again!

Google (where I keep my foster dog pictures) made me this sweet little dog video that is of all my foster dogs - no Sasha for some reason; but Skeeter makes an appearance.  It was fun to watch - see it here - Google Dog Video

And a quick update from Pippa (formerly Selma) who is just as cute as ever demanding her belly rubs which you know she gets lot of!

Updates

Pippa, adopted 2 years ago is turning 3.. She still loves her toys, but also doesn't mind playing with a foot from time to time!  It's nice to see her all grown up into full doghood :)

Simon, Simon, Simon... his mom posts him on intragraam from time to time so I get to keep up on his adorableness.  Adopted last year, he of course chooses a big ol' ice cube to play with... but he's so cute doing it!  I so enjoy seeing his continued goofiness that we came to know and love

Skipper (in the middle) doing fantastic with lil, but older sister on the right, Fifi and new baby fur sibling on the left!  I think he will always have a puppy face to me.

And last, but not least - I have heard from Stallone's new mom and he is quickly making himself at home... .His mom changed his name to Chase (which was his name on his previous paperwork) and is already walking so much better on his leash.  I look forward to hearing about him.. (and maybe a picture of two!)

Silas

Silas has quickly settled into his new home and is getting along great with his new sister Lola (former foster Scully)..you can see how tough he has it from lounging in his new bed to napping by the pool!  We are happy for him, it's the life he deserves!

Shelby

Shelby is one of my very first fosters and I'll always remember her cause she was so tiny, yet she could and would jump into anyone arms.  She continues to be a blessing and best friend to her mom Sherise and now has a little minpin sibling to play with her. 

Sprite

Now Maggie; she is super loved and has two fursiblings to run around with and is just enjoying the good life!

Selma

Now Pippa, she is Princess of all she surveys! Now 2 1/2 yrs old, and over a year since being adopted; she is thriving in her new home and is loved very much.

Sienna

Now Holly, she is doing super in her new family and her pack. She gets to travel and we saw her at the Rattiefest and you could just see how happy she is and how well she is doing.  Couldn't be happier for her. 

Updates!

Selena - now name Eleanor aka Ellie, is doing great with Rigby and her new family... She looks right at home!

Marcia too, is enjoy some good quality napping time with her new sis, Nala!

And here is Pippa, (Selma) who was adopted over a year go enjoying a nice outing in the spring!

A new foster will be coming in mid May... fun times ahead!

Former Foster Updates!

Foster foster update... So happy that all these New Rattitude dogs got to spend Christmas with their families!

Merry Christmas to all the New Rattitude dogs who have found their families to spend Christmas with and all the dogs who are patiently waiting for families of their own in wonderful New Rattitude foster homes!  We will make that happen in 2016!

Pippa Headed Home!

We've had a lot of fun watching cute little Pippa this past three weeks... We've done lots to keep this girl busy, which hasn't always been easy to do with our heatwave... Especially after Sienna was adopted and she didn't have her playmate.

Just thought I would share some pictures of our last week... She's heading home tomorrow and I'm sure she will be soooo happpy to see her people and the sights of Portland once again! 

She soooo wants to be friends with Sasha... Sasha says no way jose!

 We went to the Folk Life Festival here in Yakima... She met so many people, loves meeting the kids (especially the ones that one that had treats!), meeting dogs and of course, busy looking for dropped food! 

 This little black dog was adorable, reminded me of Sasha, but he had the cutest overbite... Him and Pippa were very interested in each other and hung out a bit...

 We also have been to the dog park many times with Pippa... This last time, there was a puppy dobie there...Gucci was her name and she was 70 lbs.. She wanted to play with tiny Pippa but she was way to big and pawsy... She choose to hang out on the park bench (whew!) with us where she was more at level with this big girl.  Luckily there was a lot of more her size puppies that she got to hang out with once Gucci found a like sized playmate to keep her busy.

We will miss Pippa... Had a lot of fun with her but her people miss her lots and I'm sure can't wait to see her again! 

Pippa's Busy Day

Pippa got to go visit Yakima and I almost every pet store we have!  We went to 3 pet stores and 1 ranch store... She was great and eager in every place, greeting people with her little wiggle butt!  She had fun sniffing and exploring each place... but I think her favorite was meeting a puppy Decker rat terrier... who was about the same size of her and they got to play and be goofy for a little bit...  She's just got the best dog manners and loves to play...

 I wish I had better pictures of them playing... too blurry...  but so interested in the birds!

Quiet, busy, slow, fast, all the stores were fun to her and something new to explore....

Sienna send off...

Here is Sienna with her pack... Pudgie in the middle and Gina on the far left...  She's doing well with new people and doggie pals... She's got lots of love in her future!  - they are so cute together... Gino has a nub tail, Sienna a half tail and Pudgie a full tail - a complete set! 

 On our ride up to Cle Elum, she got herself a pup cup and just sat so well in her seat... Before she left, I got some last kisses to her spikey mohawk... I'm so happy for the life she has in store for her...

 Poor Pippa... She's just got us and grumpy Sasha... We'll have to keep her busy for sure...

 Cause she had so much fun with Sienna.... I loved watching them play :) 

I'll be taking a short break from fostering until my next little girl arrives July 19th ish... Her name is Sparrow and wow - she's a cutie for sure...
