Updates

Teddy and Lola (Silas and Scully), best buds and doing great... Lola got to be famous by appearing in a shoe catalog with her mom!  Way to go!!!

Rue (Sylvia) who has come so far since being adopted... letting go of her fears and learning to trust... She also doesn't mind hanging out with the cat to get some neighborhood peepin' in!

And there is Summer and Sandy - Summer jumped in the lake this past summer to get a swim in (who knew!)

And while I think they are adorable in their sweaters, Sandy is not too much of a fan.  They are good playmates with each other and just seem to be peas in a pod!

And here is Baxter (Mulder) with his new human baby brother...  awwwww

And lovely Pippa () - She also got to visit Haystack Rock at Cannon Beach just like we did.  She's turning 3 soon too!

And a special shout out to our 17 year old cat Sarah.. while not a fan of all the rat terriers I've fostered, especially the ones that managed to sneak and eat her food... She has shown a lot of patience with the revolving rat terriers that we have introduced her too (which she basically hisses at if they get too close and basically acts like they don't exist)... She's battling early stage kidney disease and just got out of the vet for a 3 day stay of rehydration.  We are hopeful that we can slow this disease down and keep her healthy!

I love getting updates, please forgive if I missed getting it on the blog!!!

Updates

Baxter, (formally Mulder) got to finally welcome baby Max to the family... Sleepy dad, says all is going well with the new baby Max... they are interested in the baby, some licks and checking out to see if there is any food... They are making sure they get attention and baby-free time time too.  They look like a happy family to me!

ah.. Simon... I grabbed these pictures off of instagram... the post on the picture below was "These two are exhausted after a day of ripping up toilet paper and tearing down anything hanging from the wall that is less than 4 ft from the ground."  Sounds like they are partners in crime!  They sure try to look innocent don't they?

Then, they got to experience some rainy camping days, which maybe wasn't so fun, but they got to cuddle lots.  They look like such a fun pair to me - I'm happy they have each other...

And some pictures of Sparrow!  All recovered from her dislocated toe injury and ready to rumble.   It's fun to watch her grow up.

Lola (former foster Scully, ) and new sister to Silas (now Teddy).. got to be in a photoshoot for her dad's shoe catalog... I think her and her mom look great!  Lola and Teddy are doing great together.

It's weird to not have any foster dogs these past couple weeks and sometimes I feel like I'm missing a dog...but I don't think Sasha and Skeeter are missing it so much and are enjoying the mellower pace (aka, lots of naps!).

Sherlock goes home and updates!

My last photos of Sherlock before sending him off to his new home... He met his new family and
was his regular charming self and they were smitten of course...He's a lucky boy and in
for lots of new adventures... cannot wait to hear about them... He's got training classes coming up in a week and I'm sure he's gonna be a super star!

Sparrow -  who was adopted last August.. poor gal dislocated her toe a few weeks ago but she's sporty a fancy pink soft cast and healing up nicely... I didn't even know that could happen!!  She does have long toes though as the picture I got of her greeting me through my screen door attests!

And Mulder, now Baxter, has great news too... Him and his fur sister Maddie are getting a human sibling!  His parents posted a great facebook post about it... too adorable!  What's amazing too; is that is was just a year ago he was recovered from his rear leg amputation and adopted!

And Mina (formerly Sabrina) is celebrating her 3 year "I've been adopted" anniversary this month!  I can't believe it's been that long!  Love watching all her adventures on facebook too!

New pup coming in a couple of weeks, we are calling him Silas... until then Sasha and Skeeter will rest up... :)

More Updates!

Millie, formerly Skye was adopted as a puppy back in October 2013.  Well she is now 3 years old and a whole 9 lbs!!!  She has a dog-sister Moxie who she likes to bug a lot and earned the nickname Mayhem Millie.   It's amazing to see these pups all grown up!

Good ol' Baxter (formerly Mulder) still doing the crazy sleeping positions even minus a back leg... He is much loved and is thriving is his new home...

And these two adorable mouse-rats...are Minnie and Mikki - Mike and Tom's adorable pups - they are great New Rattitude supporters and I couldn't resist sharing...because... cute outfits (with matching names to boot!)!

Skeeter too is doing great and went on a road trip with us this weekend up to Coulee Dam and was a little rock star enjoying all the new sights and sounds

Sasha and Skeeter - Where are we going!  M
She did not want to go in the water and wasn't too happy about me holding her an wading in there...But she was able to tackle a pretty good hill up and down!

 My favorite picture!

Updates on Sparrow and Mulder

So Sparrow is busy settling in with his new people and Gollum,  her new fur-brother...  She's doing well and getting along great and I'm sure loving all the attention.  They've got some obedience training planned for her  which she will just be a superstar at it I'm sure!  Sad to see her and her spunky energy go, but Sasha not so much - she'll be resting up for sure :).  Lots of fun play ahead for Sparrow for sure!

Baxter too (formally Mulder) - is doing superbly - he is great buddies with his fursister Maddie and they are cuddling together... He gets to go on lots of hikes and this little tripawd dog had no problems with doing 11 miles! Of course, we knew that!  Love seeing him so happy and loved :)

Mulder/Baxter Update

He is doing fantastic...His family couldn't love him more and he just loves his fur-sibling Maddie to pieces...they play all the time, cuddle in their crate together and he is just the perfect fit (as we all knew he would be)...

He got to go hiking and even though it was 5 miles, he was still raring to go...nothing stops this little tripawd and I'm happy to see thrive in his new home!  (and just facebook stalk him and his adventures a little bit!)

Departures and Arrivals

Mulder, now Baxter is home with his people now... We had a nice visit at our dog park and freshly bathed Mulder, rolled around in the dirt and got nice and dusty for them and the trip home.   (I would like to think, taking a little of Yakima and his fond memories with him).  We are really going to miss him and his happy ways but he is is good hands and I know he is going to love his new family and his fur-sibling Maddie!  I saw too, he has a nice donut bed to take comfy naps in too!

And now Sienna is busy on the Gettin' em Home transport heading up to to the Westside and Angela, Skittles mom will be helping transporting her over to me.  I can't wait to meet her!  I don't know a lot about her.. she's 3 and I hear she's a sweetie... She sure has a cute face!!!  More to come for sure...
