Updates

I've been busy and my updates got a way from me  - so I thought I should get out the ones I've been hoarding for while... sorry if I missed anyone... 

Little Frankie has settled in great with his new mom and fur sister, Koko.   As you can see, he loves her so much and of course he loves his mom too.  So happy for this little guy.  How freaking cute are they?!!!   This is just what I wanted for him.

Millie - (formerly Skye) was a puppy I fostered many years ago.  Now all grown up.  Unfortunately, she was recently diagnoses with Addison's disease, but quick action from her mom and family wiht the right medication got her back on track and feeling better.  Best Wishes and stay healthy!

And an updated on my Skeeter... some people saw it on Facebook - but we took Skeeter to see the neurologist for her back... we found out that while she does have problems in 3 places in her spine, two luxating patellas in the back of the knees - what was worse - was the lung cancer with involvement in the lymph nodes that they found that make any other surgery impossible.  Cancer is most likely metastatic from one of her previous mammary tumors.  I have taken her in 3 times to have them removed after her primary surgery and still as the WSU - they found 2 that I hadn't spotted yet.   Devastating and uncurable.  However, we opted to do some chemotherapy and on her last treatment - her xray showed no progression of the cancer, even a possible bit of a reducement.    Also - good news... medication for her back has been working and she isn't dependent on her wheel chair; those she still has some motility issues. Very little symptoms from either her cancer or the treatment which is great.   As long as her quality of life is good - we will fight this.  She's still barking at the neighbors, licking faces and being the best desk dog-  Go Skeeter!

Updates!!!!

Scotty is doing wonderfully with his new family.  They are keeping his name too! 

He is wonderful.  We all love him.  No, we like the name Scotty.  We have no plans on changing it. He also gets to go to the vet practice where his parent so and hang out in the office, which is great!  

They say:  He is so active and happy.  I think we have kept him tired enough that he hasn't been interested in shoes or being destructive. He even has a life vest and has gone kayaking.   He is really good at fetch in the house.  He and the younger cat play so well.  They like to chase each other and they are clearly playing.  

I am so happy for the good life that Scotty has in front of him.  He is a lucky little dog!  

Millie (who was puppy Skye) is doing great.  She is 4 years old now and no longer a puppy!   All grown up.  She is a love bug and quite the snuggler.  She loves to be outside as much as possible and play in the outdoors.

I can't believe that little 2 lb puppy who wore an xs kitty collar is all grown up.  Love seeing her happy and loved!

And last but not least - Lola (formally Scully) and Teddy (Silas) - are doing great.  Getting to hang out; go on vacations and Lola got to be famous in her dad's shoe companies catalog.  It's great seeing two New Rattitude fosters get to be siblings to such a great family.   Though her mom says their new favorite game is tug of war - of squeeky toys, which is great, but hard on the ears!  

More Updates!

Millie, formerly Skye was adopted as a puppy back in October 2013.  Well she is now 3 years old and a whole 9 lbs!!!  She has a dog-sister Moxie who she likes to bug a lot and earned the nickname Mayhem Millie.   It's amazing to see these pups all grown up!

Good ol' Baxter (formerly Mulder) still doing the crazy sleeping positions even minus a back leg... He is much loved and is thriving is his new home...

 And these two adorable mouse-rats...are Minnie and Mikki - Mike and Tom's adorable pups - they are great New Rattitude supporters and I couldn't resist sharing...because... cute outfits (with matching names to boot!)! 

Skeeter too is doing great and went on a road trip with us this weekend up to Coulee Dam and was a little rock star enjoying all the new sights and sounds

Former Foster Updates!

Foster foster update... So happy that all these New Rattitude dogs got to spend Christmas with their families!

Merry Christmas to all the New Rattitude dogs who have found their families to spend Christmas with and all the dogs who are patiently waiting for families of their own in wonderful New Rattitude foster homes!  We will make that happen in 2016!

Updates (a lot!!!)

So many updates!  I've been hanging onto a few while I've been busy with Mulder and Skinner but it's good to hear from my former foster dogs people and see how well they are doing!  Does us good!

Great picture of Skinner with his brother Buster taking a nap... His new people report that he is doing well and they love him so much.. I love the video of him and how they are getting him to play! Buster looks like he is ready to play with Skinner too!

Selma who now goes by Pippa is doing well in her new home.  She is going on lots of walks and hiking trails which she just loves.  She got to wear a super dog outfit that I think she is adorable in!  She is going to get to visit me in a coupe of weeks while her parents go on a planned vacation they had scheduled prior to adoption.

Scully , now Lola has a tough life... 5 mile runs, supervising the gardening, swimming - wow! good for her! and a road trip in her Dad's convertible... It's so good to see and hear how well she is doing and how loved.. She deserves it!

Sadie now Seraphina, aka Phina is also doing super... She is enjoying the local dog park and just loves to meet and greet new people! Here she is with her new mom Joy!

Skye, now Millie was one of the puppies from 2 years ago... Her mom sent me a picture of her on her 2nd birthday - awww - all grown up! She is thriving in her home and enjoying her new life... Couldn't be happier for her!

And here is her brother, Sawyer.  He has his furbrother Ollie and a new little human sibling Lincoln... Ollie and Sawyer are best buds and they love this new little furless sibling too! 

Updates

 The puppies that came to New Rattitude last August, officially turned 1 year old this week!  I heard from Millie this week who is living the good life with her rat terrier sibling and while still a puppy, growing up so fast!  She had now graduated to a small collar!  When she first came to me, she was so tiny and only a xs kitty cat collar would fit her!

This means Sawyer is also one year old too!  Here he is with his brother Ollie and doing super well over in Seattle. 

We miss these little tornadoes, but it's good seeing them thriving and growing up to the dogs they were meant to be!

Updates on the Puppies and Sandy

Puppies, Skye and Sawyer - who I fostered in August-October - such tiny things when they first came to New Rattitude... Nervous and not exposed to a lot of things... the world and all the changes was scary stuff for them.  I miss them and their silly puppyness so it is great to hear and see them thrive in their new homes!

Skye, now Millie, has quickly settled into her family... I hear she's not enjoying the snow so much, but spring is right around the corner... She went a family vacation and traveled fantastically.  So happy to see her growing up with such a fabulous family!

Sawyer is showing himself to be a smart pup and learning lots of new things.  His family and his 3 year old rat terrier brother are bff's.  His family says they couldn't imagine life without him!

Sandy too, is doing very well in her new home in Oregon.  She gets to go running with her dad every other day and they just adore her.  I hope to get some pictures soon!  (hint hint)

Google+ Awesome Video

Google made this video for me - called Google + Auto Awesome ...out of my photos that i have uploaded to Google+ Not sure how it decided to pick which pictures or if I should be worried or not that's its making videos for me..but it was fun to watch the video not knowing what it was going to show.  Mostly the puppies Sawyer and Skye, Stella is in there, Sprite, Skittleman and then Sebastian (my first foster) was in the mix.  It was sweet and I do appreciate the Ice Coffee recipe that I took a picture of from a magazine this summer, that is right in the middle of all the dogs pics.. pretty much sums up a great portion of my dailly life.. dogs and coffee...coffee and dogs oh and some more coffee and dogs... so Thanks Google, you are forgiven (but I'm keeping my eye on you!)  Enjoy!

Skye is off to Idaho to meet Moxie and get to know her new family.  We are gonna miss her and her cuddles, but best wishes to her and I can't wait to her how she is doing and see her all grown up!

So since it was her last night, we partied it up on Skye's with an early Halloween costume party!

First a cat pumpkin costume that Cassie was sent in the Reddit Pet Exchange... (she really disliked the pumpkin leg braclets and was quite upset by them)

But then came out the lil' Kim party wig!  Even Sasha got in the act!

Next foster will be here a week or so into November, so Sasha will get some time to rest up! (and us too!)
