Bathtime..

She got a little stinky so it was bath time for her... She tolerated it okay... Did not like the nail trimming at all - so we didn't finish but nearly got them all.

Best part - she got the zoomies afterword...  who doesn't love that  ---->Seraphine Zoomies

And then we got "almost snuggles with Skeeter... She's still pretty hesitant and shy around my dogs so this is  a good step!

Seeing the Sights

Took Seraphina out to run errands with me.  She is a good copilot and enjoys being up in the doggie seats so she can see out.

This second picture looks like she is scared but it's actually when she got a whiff of food smells when we were in the drive thru - this is one food motivated gal!  She hears any wrinkle of a bag - she comes running to see if there is food for her!

She does really prefer a sweater in these colder days - she gets chilly and while she loves to donut bed - she liked it a whole lot better once I threw a blanket over it so she could burrow underneath!

It's Time to Walk!

Seraphina is a great walker!  She's got a good pace to her but definitely likes to stop and smell all the new things!     She is excited to see the harness and excited to get out and about.  Not interested in other dogs or people - she just wants to enjoy herself!

She's doing well while I work - She loves this little cave bed that in my office and she checks in with my regularly to give her hugs and kisses (and eye drops!).  She doesn't want to be a desk dog or share space with Skeeter; but she is taking to sitting in my chair when i go to get more coffee...

She loves her crate too - it's a wirecrate and in my room.  She sleeps in it at night with the door open... I also find her in there sometimes during the day...

Going to the Petstore...

Had to go for a doggie treat run and took Seraphina with me...  Nervous in the car; but willing... liked it better  when I put the taller doggie seat in so she could see out the car.

She enjoy exploring the petstore - but didn't want to meet anyone, dog or human...too scary!  She jusst needs practice which we will do.

She did so good - we went and got a pup cup after that!  That she enjoyed very much!

And Skeeter got a new little outfit for Halloween so I had Seraphina wear her Thing2 outfit... It's fits superwell except of course for the legs (they go all the way down for Skeeter) - Seraphina just has legs for days!  She likes wearing sweaters and clothes - she perks up and helps you dress her.  :)

Guess Who's Here!!

The newest foster dog has arrived!  We've named her Seraphina and she comes from 3R Rescue as a  transfer... She was adopted in September but returned due to the family dog not liking her... We thought she would fit in good up here with my dogs as we continue to search for her forever home...

She is about two years old and 10 lbs.  Very long legs!  She's a little shy and nervous but when she likes you - she'll let hold her and when she lays her head on your chest, it just makes you melt.    She does have chronic dry eye in here right eye which needs daily meds.  She's a champ at the eye drops (probably cause they make her feel better) and already after just two days, I'm so much better and faster giving them to her.

She's getting along great with my dogs; everyone is pretty much ignoring each other (which is fine by me).  She did bark at Sasha when Sasha was sniffing the wire crate in my room.  She has picked that as her bedroom and sleeps in there!   Oh and she's house-trained with the doggie door and had that figured out lickety split!

Thanks to Lynn and her previous foster mom Linda at 3R rescue for taking care of her and letting me be part of her journey...
