DogLife!

Mulder is at the vet having his surgery - so while we (anxiously) await until we can get him home, here are some fun pictures...

Met up with former foster Mina for a fun day at WestCrest park this Saturday... They all had so much fun... They got along well and enjoyed meeting all the other dogs... After about 2 hours, Skinner got a little cranky (reminded me of an overtired toddler) and started running up to all the dogs and barking at them and too soon it was time to go.  But before then, all had a good time.  Meeting dogs, playing chase and just having a good time.

I love this picture of Mina and Mulder.. Their tails are so cute!
I call this playing bitey butt - haha.. it's what it looks like!

I loveed this dog! Mulder too.. They played and chased hard!  Lots of fun for the both of them.

Little Scully came for a visit too!  I think the park was a bit overwhelming for her and Mulder was too busy playing to really give her the time of day.  But she let Cassie hold her and we enjoyed seeing how well she is doing with her new mom!

Weekend over in Seattle...

Took Mulder and Skinner over to Western Washington for a busy weekend of fun and meeting new people... Mulder was his excited sweet busy self and had a super time.  Skinner came out of his shell a bit and loosened up... It was good to see.  I would say the weekend was good for the both of them!

To travel, we gave Skinner some Dramamine and it worked perfect for him, no car sickness or drooling either way.  So that was a bonus for sure.
Mulder and Skinner meeting the neighbor dog Haley.  They had some fun fence playing!

The boys meet my friends Girl Scout Troop.  Skinner got into meeting all these sweet little girls and let them pick him up and pet him... He even went to them for pets!  Way to go little man!

Mulder wanted to play and so found someone to throw a toy for him.. He had a lot of fun!

There are many more pictures to come of our weekend, but this was the end result when we all got home Saturday night... Tired, worn out pups!

Loving the yard!

They both got so excited to go visit the yard after I mowed it... They didn't care for the moving itself...but they liked the results!

Lots of running around and seeing if anything had changed... Mulder found himself a toy hotdog that he was really hoping was the real thing... He's pretty tough on toys, so this softer toy had to go after he gnawed the end of it off...

 OMG - UP EARS!!!!

Love watching them run... Mulder is very good at enticing Skinner to play.. .Skinner is such a mellow boy and still gets worried but he is doing better every day!
Skinners idea of a good time...napping!

Rain Rain Stay, No Go Away!!!

It's rained here off and on the past few days... it doesn't rain here much, so it's always interesting to see the dogs reaction...

Mulder - What rain?  Skinner...NOOOOOOOOO!!!!

Mulder isn't affected at all by the rain, other than he doesn't like his soggy toys...life is tough mister!!!  Skinner needed some coaxing to go outside and potty and he definately didn't appreciate this wet stuff, but he stuck around.  He definatelly prefers warm and cozy!
Mulder is like "yeah, free water falling from the sky!"

Skinner took the dainty approach... maybe it's tolerable with a max of 3 paws on the ground...

Mulder...What, you taking some pictures!  Best photobomb ever!!!

Cuteness Overload

Beautiful picture of Skinner that Cassie got was he was all snuggly with her...

Mulder's ringworm is nearly healed on his muzzle, you can just see a little red spot now... I'm hoping it will be gone competely the next week.  Surgery is still scheduled 05/19/2015

They are such snuggle buddies - I don't know that it's so much Skinner as it is Mulder.  He loves a good snuggle but Skinner is getting more and more snuggly everyday, with us and with Mulder.

Hitting the trail!

Took all the puppies out to Cowiche Canyon for a late afternoon walk yesterday... We only went about 2 1/2 miles, but all the dogs had a good time and even Sasha enjoyed this easy slow walk.

Mulder was raring to go and I am sure he could have went much futher.  He pulled on the leash a bit and didn't seem to care for our slower speed but going slower was perfect for Sasha and Skinner (and me too!)

Cassie and Mulder got to go on up on a walking trail, while we stayed on the flat trail.. Skinner was not happy about being left behind!  But Mulder had lots of fun with Cassie going on a more difficult rocky terrain and handled it like a champ, even with his bad leg.

Oh and Skinner is a HUGE fan of horse poop!  We learned that quickly and had to work to stear him away from the tasty nuggets.

Buddies Skinner and Mulder

These two are quite the snoozing buddies... I tried to be sneaky and get a picture but Mulder caught me.  They both like sleeping near their people and near each other, but not touching each other...
Mulder is super treat motivated though a little impatient at times.  He thinks jumping will get him to the treat faster but we are working on it.  He's doing great and his ringworm is nearly cleared up and with healthy food, treats and priobiotics; his activity level has really come up... He likes to show off his zoomies around the yard and enticing Skinner to play with him.  He is also becoming a huge fan of playing tug and fetch...
