Busy Week

I've had a busy week, traveling twice over to the westside, so not much posting, but we have been busy getting to know Stella...

She's got a great little mix of color on her neck right here.. It's super pretty and she loves to have neck scritches!  (but who doesn't really?)

 She still finds herself getting scared and laying on the ground, but she's learning to to mellow out be part of the group and doesn't mind joining in on the "nap on the couch" time too. 

She's learning the doggie door, she knows how to go in and out, and hangs out by the door when she needs to potty.  She needs encouragement and regular trips actually going out.  I have to sometimes close the door so she doesn't run back in right away, but a few minutes and she gets to business.... She'll have it down in the next week I'm sure. 

Stellllaaaa!

She's here!  I feel like I haven't fostered in FOREVER!  And what a welcome back.. Stella  is sweet little thing, about 1 year old and 14 lbs.... She's got tiny thick little legs, but she's a jumper and can get to where ever she needs to go.

First it was bath time... She didn't like the water on her, but loved the shampooing/massaging!  

    Soon all was forgiven after drying off and getting snuggles

And Cassie got some kisses!

 So she's shy and nervous, goes flat on the ground or belly up if she thinks she did something something wrong (or you are too loud) but she'll get more relaxed in the coming days...But she also loves a good belly rub and sitting next to you. 

She also quite enjoyed watching silly Facebook dog videos with me tonight, fun times!

Skye's headed home

Skye is off to Idaho to meet Moxie and get to know her new family.  We are gonna miss her and her cuddles, but best wishes to her and I can't wait to her how she is doing and see her all grown up!

So since it was her last night, we partied it up on Skye's with an early Halloween costume party!

First a cat pumpkin costume that Cassie was sent in the Reddit Pet Exchange... (she really disliked the pumpkin leg braclets and was quite upset by them)

But then came out the lil' Kim party wig!  Even Sasha got in the act!

Next foster will be here a week or so into November, so Sasha will get some time to rest up! (and us too!)

An Offical XS Collar!

So to prepare Skye for her new home - it was time to get replace her xs kitty cat collar.  When she first came, all the collars for her (or the extras I had) were huge on this tiny girl, so a trip to the pet store and the best fitted collar we could find for was an xs kitten (though we did take the bell off).  2 months later and she now has an official XS RedDingo martingale dog collar (though it's still on the smallest setting) that Cassie picked up for her...

As a reward for being a big girl - I let her chew on the plastic from the tag, while I snapped a few pics!   She was in heaven...(and now she jingles just a bit like we are used to from her tags)

I'm Adopted!

Well it finally happened for little Skye and she has found her furever home!  She's heading to Idaho this Saturday to start her new life with her family which includes a human brother and a rat terrier named Moxie who has been missing having some fur-playmates and she will find it with Skye in no time! 

I'm gonna miss this spunky little puppy but she has great things in store for her!

Until then, we are just going to do more of this...

Update on Sawyer

His new parents say that Sawyers ears are starting to look like they want to stand up!  He is enjoying the last of the summer weather with his big fur-sibling Ollie in their backyard.  He just didn't miss a beat and is enjoying his new family!  Yeah Sawyer!

Lazy Weekends..

I've had a busy week with travels over to Olympia so haven't been able to post but, but Skye sure is growing up... I swear she grew while I was gone! 

I also brought back a dog-guest... previous foster - Mr. Skittles!  Who promptly came in and layed down next to Cassie!  He's staying until Thursday.  So far, he's not a fan of puppy Skye (who is trying so hard to show him how cute and fun she is) but we will see if he loosens up and maybe will play a game of chase... She would love that! (They do enjoy snuggling under the blankets together)
