Toy Time!

Try as I might, I couldn't get the boys to both look at me at the same time while they where chewing on toys in almost perfect line....   It's good to see Skittles be able to relax and play with a toy and not feel the need to be guardy around another dog... Sammy is just cute when he lays like a frog with his back legs out! 

Later, taking turns with mr bear... How cute is Skittles, he's almost hugging mr bear into his body!  He really enjoys nibbling (not usually chewing) on toys!

Worn Out Puppies!

So the boys are resting from their grand adventure to the westside.  Sammy had a lot of fun running around and meeting people and playing in the fenced area - Skittles enjoyed most of him time with a higher view - up in various arms being held... He did enjoy getting pets from all that visited.. Former foster Sheldon now Sharky showed up - his normal happy self, playing with other dogs and chasing balls... It was good to see him - though him and Sammy just kind of looked at either and then went and did their own thing...

Sammy and Skittles enjoyed the duck pond... I think given enough time - Sammy might have swam for one!

Skittles hung out in the dog park, but liked lots of space from other dogs... Sammy would play, but stuck by the fence to keep checking on me to make sure I didn't go anywhere....

Going to the WESTSIDE!!!!

You can get Skittles to do tiny howls if you do them too... Sammy tries to howl but more just high barks for him...I love the pic on the right with Sammy in the background... :)

Bobbing For Treats

So none of the dogs are water lovers... COULD have something to do with me watering the garden and them getting some spray every once in a while...But Cassie and I decided to try to make water a little more fun for them by getting them in the little wading pool using treats...

My dog Sasha went in first and then Skittles quickly followed... Sammy was a little more hesitant and after trying for a bit, we decided to just put some treats in the water and see what happens and yep... in then went... Sammy kind of just chomps at the water and treats at the same time where Skittles was quite the little master... I could see him blow out tiny bubbles out of his nose when he went down in the water for the treats...

Oh No Monday!

Skittles is a funny little man.. he's a groaner..  He groans when he tries to find a good spot, groans if you move him when he's all comfortable and sometimes I don't know why he groans... he just does!  He just likes to make some noise I think.  He'll also give you a bark if he wants your attention to get you to look at him...this is usually followed by a jump into your lap!

Buddies

 Skittles is really coming out of his shell... He is starting to play with Sammy on a regular basis and playing chase with him too.  It's really good for him as he gets comfortable and great for Sammy who just loves to play. 

Cassie got the boys to play tug with the new toy ropes they got...  And Skittles is really learning to enjoy playing tug with the rope...

 Skittles got to make a short visit to my work and meet my co-workers.. He did super... a little nervous but enjoyed the pets and treats..
