His new parents say that Sawyers ears are
starting to look like they want to stand up! He is enjoying the last of the summer weather with his big fur-sibling Ollie in their backyard. He just didn't miss a beat and is enjoying his new family! Yeah Sawyer!
I've had a busy week with travels over to Olympia so haven't been able to post but, but Skye sure is growing up... I swear she grew while I was gone!
I also brought back a dog-guest... previous foster - Mr. Skittles! Who promptly came in and layed down next to Cassie! He's staying until Thursday. So far, he's not a fan of puppy Skye (who is trying so hard to show him how cute and fun she is) but we will see if he loosens up and maybe will play a game of chase... She would love that! (They do enjoy snuggling under the blankets together)
So while Cassie was running in the Pirate Plunder on Saturday, Skye and I hung out in the parking lot together... No dogs were allowed in the spectator area (boo)

Finding out it's not so bad exploring, she even got a souvenir stick!
We were only there for about a hour, but she had a fun time exploring and sniffing and seeing people and got tuckered out...
Skye likes to sleep in all kinds of contorted ways and then some more relaxed ways too.. Whatever gets the good nap in I suppose... But her favorite nap is burrowed under the covers!
Skye got to go to Starbucks, got herself a "pup cup" (tiny bit of whipped cream) and she thought it was the best thing ever! She also got to try out our seatbelt harness and she did very well in, until she smelled all the good things at the Starbucks window and then she wanted to visit!
MMMM - Good!
Turns out the Starbucks pup cup is also an awesome play toy... So it's been battered, gnawed on an chased all through the house. This is a video of Cassie, Skye and the PupCup
This video was taking with the new iphone Slo-Mo aspect.. kind of cool... I'll warn you... there are 3 spirit balls that show up in the video (or particles of dust, whatever you want to think) that are kind of weird... it makes some strange noises due to the slowdown but other than that, I think I will be taking more of these videos.
So Skye can regularly life an ear (or two) when she laying down, but this weekend, we got this kind of half up/half down on her ears, like she was getting ready for liftoff...
And then when Cassie put a sticker from an apple on her forehead last night- what do we get besides annoyance from Skye? An up ear! Way to go little one!
Next time, we will try without the sticker! (maybe)
