Not one, but two little darlings are headed this way sometime next week. Both tiny girls, 6 & 9 lbs and each a year old... Selma is the dog on the left and Sadie is the tinnier chocolately girl.
It's been quite in the house during the christmas holiday and Sasha has gotten to catch up on her zzz's. But I think we are ready for a busy dog filled household in the coming year!

Updates
Yep, Stu has it rough in his new home... He gets to cozy up by the fire when he can stay nice and toasty this winter... His family say he's doing great and has fit right in with them. I knew he would!
And here is Skipper looking dandy in his new green Christmas sweater and sweet Mina (Sabrina) with her parents enjoying the Leavenworth festivities...
And last but not least... Rue (Sylvia) who is enjoying her new home and mom. She looks settled and right a home... She even has a little rat terrier friend Pippin she gets to play with and will spending Christmas eve with!

I'm Adopted!
Sweet Little Sybil got the best Christmas present ever... a home! She's staying in Eastern Washington down in the TriCities and has got a great mom with a big back yard to run and play in! What a great Christmas for her and a great new year! I will miss this little cuddle bug (currently napping behind me as a back warmer), but she's got great things in store for her in 2015!
Sybil is just waiting for her person to come get her!

Bully for me!
Sybil got to enjoy herself a nice bully stick... She wasn't quite sure what it was at first, but she didn't take long to figure it out and realized what a treat she had. I thought she got into some cute poses as she got her chew on!

Silly Sybil Faces
Sybil is getting more and more comfortable... While she is not a fan of cats and thinks they are great things to chase, she loves my neighbors kids and likes getting pets from them. She wants to play with the neighbors dogs, a small terrier and a bigger Italian greyhound, but neither of them were wanting to play :
She's got a cute little face and you can't see it in these photos, but an adorable nub of a tail that wiggles so cute when she wants something...
She's also great in the crate... She's sleeps in there no problem and waits for you to let her out with just a light whine and of course the wiggle tail that you can hear in her crate... Early this week, I couldn't find her one evening, no where in the house, the yard, anywhere, I was calling her name and she was just no where to be found... Just as panic was setting in, i heard her small whine and where did I find her? Stuck in the linen closet where I must have accidentally shut her in! She was just sitting in there, poor thing, waiting for me to let her out!

Toy Maimer!
Bought some fleece at the holiday fleece sale at JoAnn's... I think Sybil approves of my choices! (or wants them all!). Or she might be telling to get busy to making some dog blankets and beds!
She's doing great and has gone back to using the doggie door on her own after about a week of "hey, it's too cold out there, you have to make me and keep me company, if you want me to pee out there".
Sybil is such a toy maimer... She loves to make them squeak and then gets busy destuffing them... Since she has arrived, I've been busy picking up lots of stuffing pieces all over the house... I've got a couple of toughie toys that's she's been busy chewing on but hasn't managed to completely destroy, though she's working hard of them! But the little basic stuffed animals with the squeakers.. that's just easy and fun for her!

Relaxing...
Slowing Sybil is starting to relax... She loves to sit on your lap and be petted and I think she would do it all day if you let her...

Clothes Time!
So I obviously have too much time on my hands... It was chilly so I pulled out the dog pj's and let Sybil give them a whirl... She didn't miss a beat at all and seemed quite cozy! I thought she looked downright adorable!
She's doing well.. still working on the potty training.. She really doesn't like the cold and so she will let me know by going to the doggie door, but won't use the doggie door... so we go out together and it's all fine.. Maybe she just likes the company!
She is really good with kids and people... She likes meeting all kind of new people and likes free pets! I have found though that she's not too cat friendly...she does okay when they don't move, but when they run... Then it's chase time! So a no kitty cat household for her I think...

Mastering the Doggie Door!
Sybil is busy settling in.. She's a huge fan of Cassie and as you can see, thinks she makes a comfy spot to rest on! After a few weeks of no foster dog in the house, we are now treated to daily squeaks as she loves to play with (and destroy) her doggie toys and their squeakers!
She used the doggie to go out by herself yesterday and today has been busy going in and out! She gets very excited for her kibble treats that she gets when she comes in! She is well on her way to being house trained now that the doggie door has been mastered!
She's got some dark fur underneath that makes her fur look a little grey, but she's super soft and has a great spotted belly that she loves to have rubbed!
She doesn't always like to be held to tight, but yesterday with the weather being so cold, she ask to be held and got to snuggle in my coat... She's really super sweet!

Backyard Exploring
Lots of good stuff to explore in the backyard for Sybil... She doesn't know the doggie dog, but she's quickly figure out how to get back in from the backyard! The weather is cold and you'll be seeing Sybil wear some sweaters in the future... It's chilly!
She loves this spot by a pulled up stump... First place she goes to check...

Welcome Sybil!
New foster dog arrived on Saturday and we call her Sybil! She's sweet, though a little timid...that worked for bath time cause she handled it like a champ! Afterwards, she rubbed herself all over the carpet and then helped herself to some squeeky toys... She is quite the fan of toys and seemed to enjoy herself!
She's got an extra pound on her so we will be working on getting that off of her and house training
She's got a funny sit and she loves to be by you, but not such a fan of being held... She has a healed fracture in her back leg and while it's healed and fine, it's left her leg a bit shorter and sometimes she uses it and sometimes she doesn't... She's a sweet thing and I look forward to getting to know her!
